Easter card.

Hi everyone! Happy Easter to all of you! 🙂

Today I’m sharing an Easter card with you. I don’t have ANY Easter related stamps or dies in my stash, so I had to borrow a stamp from my mother in law! She’s my crafting buddy and sometimes it’s very handy that you can borrow some things from eachother. Like now 😉

In Belgium it’s not really a habit to send eachother Easter cards. But the stamping companies make gorgious Easter related stamps and dies of course. And then you receive a beautiful Easter card from a crafting friend… and of course, you want to make an Easter card as well for her 😉
So, next year, I will buy some Easter products. Even though it’s not a habit over here, it’s always fun to make someone happy with a card, right?

I hope you all had a fun Easter and lots of yummy chocolate 😉

See you soon!

Magic color slider card

Hi everyone! Here I am with a new card to show you 🙂

Last week I didn’t post a new card. It was a busy week and I used the free time I had to start organising my craft supplies. There were some obstacles while doing that, so I couldn’t show you much because not much had been done… But somewhere in the future I will show you some before and after pics 😉

But here is my card for today!

I have a niece in Thailand who will turn 7 in a few weeks. Like most little girls she likes glitter and mermaids. So I made her this magic color slider card.

I used the Mermaizing stampset of My favorite things for this card.

What do you think? Will my niece be happy with her birthdaycard?

See you soon!

Support card.

Hi everyone! Here I am with a new card to share with you!

Todays card was made with a stampset from My favorite things called ‘best in show’. It’s a set from their latest release. I loved it right away and because I didn’t own any stampset with dogs yet, I had to have it 😉

For the clouds I used vellum that I cut out with the cloud dies from My favorite things.

I also added some butterflies and flowers from the Lawn fawn ‘butterfly kisses’ stampset.

Just like us, this dog enjoys some outdoors activity when the weather is nice 🙂

I enjoyed making this card and I hope you like it 🙂 See you soon!

It’s your birth-yay!

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a birthday card with you. As soon as I saw the birthyay stampset from My favorite things I loved it! But I didn’t buy the stampset right away (like I wanted to). I’m trying to be really conscious about what I buy. So when a new release comes out you always see so many items that you like and you kinda want it all! I now wait a while and think about how much I will use the product. This set kept coming back in my mind so that was a good sign. I recently bought the stampset and made this card with it:

I love how the sparkly bubbles bring the card to life! The stacked animals are my favorite stamp of the set so I just had to use that one first 🙂

I hope you like my card and see you soon!

Another spring card.

Hi everyone! We are still dealing with bad weather in Belgium but that doesn’t stop me from making more spring cards.

For this card I used the Dandelion wishes stampset from Mama Elephant.

Isn’t it a cute scene? Critters having fun playing with the Dandelions.

I really enjoyed making this happy card! I hope you feel a bit of that spring feeling that the critters on the card are enjoying!
See you soon!

Spring card.

Hi everyone! We had some beautiful spring weather in Februari, so it wanted to make a card with a spring feeling.

I used the Lawn fawn stampset ‘butterfly kisses’ to make this shakercard.

It was the first time that I used beads to fill up the shaker.

I enjoyed making this card, even though the weather feels more like fall right now. I hope you like my card and see you soon!

Unicorns, pink and glitter.

Hi everyone! Today I want to share a card that I made for a little girl that turns 8 in March.

Like many girls of that age she is crazy about unicorns and the color pink. Some glitter and shine is always welcome too 😉 So I took out the My favorite things ‘Magic Unicorns’ stampset and got started…

The sequins mix is from Little things from Lucy’s cards and is called ‘Sprinkles Unicorn crush’.

It was hard to capture on the photo’s but I added some shimmer and shine on the unicorn, the clouds, the rainbow and on the roof of the castletowers.

I hope you like my card and especially that I will make a little girls very happy with this card on her birthday! See you soon!

Bookmarker card.

Hi everyone! It’s time to share a new card with you 🙂 This time I made a card with a bookmarker in it.

For this card I was inspired by Ashley Tucker. She made a video of how she made such a card. Because I have quite some booklovers among my friends and family, I decided to make a card like that.

It was a fun card to make and not hard at all.

I can’t wait to send the card and make someone happy with it!

I hope you like my card and see you soon!

Valentinescard

Hi everyone! Last Thursday it was Valentinesday and today I want to share the card that I made for my husband for this occasion.

At first I wanted to make a totally different card. Some time ago I bought an embossingfolder at Action (a Belgian store) with a big heart on it that looked a bit like origami style. But unfortunately the embossingfolder doesn’t print the heart hard enough in the paper. It was hard to see it and I decided to make a different card.

The idea for this card came from the Lawn Fawnatics challenge 45 – Lots of love. I don’t own many Lawn Fawn stampsets (yet) so I had to be creative with what I had in my stash.

This is how I made the card. First I die cut a piece of Neenah 80 lbs white cardstock with the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangles. I prepared the cardstock for heat embossing with some kitchen flour and a brush. Then I took the little hearts stamp from the You are sublime stampset and stamped them all over the cardstock with Versamark ink. I sprinkled KnorrPrandell metallic red embossingpowder over the ink and heat embossed it.

I took an already stamped and cut out mug out of my stach and colored it with copic markers. I stamped the coffee in the mug with Colorbox chesnut pigment ink.

After that I took a piece of red cardstock and die cut a stiched circle out of it.
For the sentiment I took a scrap piece of vellum that I cut in the right size. I prepared it for heatembossing with kitchen flour and a brush and stamped the sentiment on it with Versamark ink. I used Wow primary ebony super fine embossingpowder and heat embossed it.

I made a cardbase with Neenah 80 lbs cardstock and cut a piece of red cardstock a little bit smaller and adhered it on the cardbase.
Then I adhered the panel with the embossed hearts on it, as well as the red circle and the coffee mug.

To be able to adhere the vellum strip in a way you can’t see the glue, I used a little paper heart out of my stash. I colored it pink with a flex marker. I put a little dot of glue under the vellum, adhered it to the card and then did the same with the little heart, that now hides the glue under the vellum.

It was a fun card to maken and I’m very happy with how it turned out. I enjoyed it that I don’t have a specific Valentines stampset but still managed to make a lovely card for this occasion with the stamps that I have.

I hope you like the card and see you soon!

3 D pop card

Hi everyone! Today I want to share a card that I made for a sweet friend’s birthday.

It’s a 3 D pop up card with the cute unicorns from the My favorite things ‘Magical Unicorns’ stampset.

I really love how this card turned out! I hope you like it too!

See you soon!
